Buffalo in Focus...

DK PhotoGroup from Toronto was here today. We met-up at the Orphan Home down on Dodge Street. Lunch at the Towne and walk down Allen Street. Checked out Burchfield's Buffalo and ended up at the Sattler Theatre, in the 500 block of Broadway. Group shot with friends in the balcony.

Thanks for the tour today, David. It was great to see another side of Buffalo. I almost want to live there!

There is more to Buffalo than the decay

    Steel...

"Decay" and vacancy are a part of the lived urban experience for much of Buffalo. These guys do an extraordinary job in presenting certain aspects of this.

That said DK also went very far out their way to bring a former resident of the German Roman Catholic Orphan Home back to the Dodge Street campus today. First time back in 50 years.

This group is very sensitive to the beauty of Buffalo. Many people are just rediscovering parts of Buffalo - first ward, near East side...DK's work is very important as people beging to look East.

    Photomat...

    I'll hook-up you up with a realtor!

There is a quality even meaner than outright ugliness or disorder, and this meaner quality is the dishonest mask
of pretended order, achieved by ignoring or suppressing the real order that is struggling to exist and to be served.
