Just learned that this grassy knoll on Michigan Avenue is the highest spot in the City. Really nice spot. That's a portion of the house over on the corner of High and Maple that I've written about before - 204 High Street.

Once again I find myself perplexed as to why a building is being condemned. Though, I would need to inspect the interior, the only significant damage is where there must have been an enclosed, exterior staircase. Other than that, the building appears to be intact, as well as any building can be after 27-years!

Meanwhile, a piece of shit like the Vernor’s Building remains standing!
