While Buffalo Old Home Week supporters were enjoying national press coverage in the last few weeks, here in the New York Times and over here in the Wall Street Journal, an East Side minister and former Buffalo School Board member Rev. Darius Pridgen was quietly going about his ministry and business.
Today's Wall Street Journal article featured a number of businesses across the nation that have been established in the urban core. Kudos to Rev. Pridgen and the folks at True Bethel for having the fortitude and vision to go where others will certainly follow. Here's the map.
I believe this is the first time - in recent memory - that an East Side Buffalo business was prominently featured in a Wall Street Journal article.
