Buffalo's only Down Town Beach!

While paddling around yesterday we "discovered" Buffalo's only downtown beach!

It's not much. Sort of primal with the drift-wood shelter. Ice cream is just a few hundred feet away at the Hatch. I've biked most of the City's streets and since getting my canoe back a few years ago, I'm seeing Buffalo from a whole new perspective.

These guys - Lower Lakes Marine Historical Society - right here in Buffalo have been exploring and exhibiting Buffalo's water front history since 1986.
