What a lovely first day of Spring photo!

I drive through this area periodically and, despite all of the newer housing surrounding this “newest” sub-division, the entire area has an aura of neglect or desolation that I find disturbing.

There seems to be a total lack of vibrancy where there should be a bustling business district supported by the residents there is vacant lots and empty buildings ~ even the proximity to route-33 does not seem to be much of an affect other than producing traffic noise.

There is a quality even meaner than outright ugliness or disorder, and this meaner quality is the dishonest mask
of pretended order, achieved by ignoring or suppressing the real order that is struggling to exist and to be served.
