Buffalo First’s year-long buy local campaign aims to encourage Buffalo area residents to make purchases at locally-owned independent business whenever possible. We also encourage local "mom and pop" stores to source with Buffalo's farmers, producers and retailers; and work with local nonprofits, credit unions and other institutions whenever they can.
Check out the member directory and you'll find one of Buffalo's coolest places - Old Editions Bookshop, on the City's near East side...you'll never know who you might bump into.

How do you figure that this is on the "near East Side"?? It's smack "downtown." A very interesting looking place I will surely try to visit when I get back there one of these days. I have to post "Anonymous" because I keep forgetting how I signed up! Sorry.

Anon 12:39,

Many of the members own biz on the City's east side. Rare instance of crossing the line and reaching out...to promote events...

Mark,

Amy is totally down with helping to unleash the potential of the City's near east side...

I can't believe the disparity of Buffalo police in their approach to incidents, there is no protocol,
some will take side with thugs that openly threaten people with their life, where is this city going? guess? the leadership and the rhetoric is great but where is the quality in the officer on the beat? No inteligent life form here Scotty, beam me up !
