Here's the last one of the season, I think. 1470 Michigan Avenue was in good structural condition. The mechanical systems needed to be replaced, yet for 20-25K of materials it would have made a good home for someone. Another missed opportunity.

I was just clicking thru my Flickr and noticed these 1470 Michigan pics from a few months ago. The one on the left was taken in January '05 and the other one is from August '05. What's the rush in replacing a random sidewalk when other priorities, properly securing the Woodlawn Row Houses, should be higher on the list of things to do and fund.
