Kaleida's Progress - Demolition Part I

Kaleida's expansion into the neighborhood includes the planned demolition of seven structures - six houses and a former gas station - first mentioned here last December in the High/North street block. Buffalo ReUse has been awarded the demolition contracts and the deconstruction of one of the six houses at 1045 Michigan Avenue began last week.

This fate of this little brick house - threatened with demolition - on the corner of North, near Michigan remains uncertain as it was recently determined by SHPO to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
