I think it's really astounding that we are indoctrinated with "Buffalo dying city population loss blah blah," and drive down the street with these gap-toothed neighborhoods as backdrop.
But when you actually stop to examine the fabric you find very, startlingly clear pictures of how it was only 20 or 30 years ago.
Who was Visniak? Who was the 24 hour plumber (he MUST have been a neighborhood favorite)? Who was Ben, and who hung around his barbershop? Who were Aubrey and Buster?
Why did they leave? WHERE ARE THEY NOW??
